A THANK YOU

You woke my heart, when you called my name.

I knew my life would never be the same.

I was somewhat scared to answer you though.

So I took a deep breath and said hello.

It’s something I should have done a long time ago.

I’ve done many things that aren’t so good.

In fact most of the time, I never did what I should.

When I heard your voice it shook me down.

Onto my knees right to the ground.

I realized then I couldn’t make it right.

So I gave it all to you, it’s out of my sight.

You took it all, then you gave me your hand.

You lifted me up, you allowed me to stand.

It’s something I should have done a long time ago.

Thank you Lord, I’ve been saved by grace.

Thank you Lord, I now carry a smile on my face.

Thank you Lord, I now can stand tall and straight.

Thank you Lord, I now have a different fate.

I now live my life confident and secure.

I’m a witness for Jesus, that’s for sure.

Life has its struggles but I’m never alone.

Christ lives in me into my heart he is sown.

Thank you Lord, I’ve have been saved by grace.

Thank you Lord, I now have a smile on my face.

Thank you Lord, I now can stand tall and straight.

Thank you Lord, I now have a different fate.

Let him pick you up, become saved by grace.

Let him put your heart in the right place.

Just whisper his name and say hello.

Now hold on tight and never let go.

Then pour out your heart and let him in.

He will forgive you and you will be born again. 

Thank you Lord for all you have done.

I’m now recognized by you as your son.

When I rise in the morning I just call your name.

You never leave me your always the same.

Thank you Lord, I’ve been saved by grace.

Thank you Lord, I now have a smile on my face.

Thank you Lord, I can now stand tall and straight.

Thank you Lord, I now have a different fate.

Thank you Lord for making me new.

I live my life now just for you.

Amen to that but what about you?

Just answer your call by saying hello.
