A GENTLE TOUCH

Have you ever cried out to God and have him not answer you?

Sure you have, it’s probably happened to you to.

You think maybe he doesn’t care or perhaps he is busy elsewhere.

In my mind I know he is there.

But I still ask “Does he care, is he being fair.”

What does he want me to go through?

How does he want it to end?

His word says he is our healer, he is our friend.

I know by his stripes we are healed and by his Spirit we are sealed, but when?

I’ve suffered for some time now, crying out day and night to him.

When I wake up each morning, my pain is still within.

So what do I do?  Where do I go from here?

He has given patience, doctors and medicine you see.

But first I’m told to have the elders lay on hands and pray over me.

I went up front and was prayed for.

I picked up my prescription from the doctor.

I know his blessings can hide themselves in suffering and pain.

I must be in for a huge blessing, if I remain sane.

My melody of cries is music to his ears.

As I draw closer to him through all my tears.

When he finally got me to where he wanted me to be.

I opened my teared eyes and see Christ hanging on the tree.

Only then do I realize my pain isn’t so bad.

I’ve arrived where you want me and for that I’m glad.

So even if the pain continues, I won’t complain so much.

For after our talk, I feel your gentle touch.

I now know you are there and trust you exclusively.

Even if at times I’m in misery.

THE STONE ROLLED AWAY

I was dying and darkness was all I could see.

Gloom despair and agony filled me.

He rolled away the stone and his light came flooding in.

I then realized my darkness was from my sin.

I walked out of my cave and his light became bright.

I tried to imagine what I looked in his sight.

I saw my ugliness, my filth, my guilt, and my sadness.

He saw me as beautiful, despite my madness.

I dropped to my knees and gave all to him.

He threw it away and I felt lighter without my sin.

He came down and took hold of me.

He grafted me onto his vine for all to see.

I became his and he became mine.

Love so supernatural, it’s one of a kind.

I still have problems; I face them one at a time.

I view things different despite the uphill climb.

I’m trying to crucify my flesh with its affections and lust.

I now let the joy of the Lord be my strength, in him I trust.

He came to save his people from their sins.

Through his gospel and his resurrection.

I’m getting stronger in the Lord and in the power of his might.

He is my Lord and my God, I’m his son his delight.

This is salvations song, give him your sin and it is gone.

No more playing around with sins power.

Run to the Lord, let him be your high tower.

He is Jesus.

Who will present you faultless before the presence of his glory.

Let him give your life a different story.

He is Jesus.

He came to seek and save the lost.

He died and rose becoming everlasting, paying our cost.

Open your eyes, turn from the darkness into his light.

Stop running from him, give up your fight.

Become strong in Jesus and in the power of his might.

Start spreading his love morning, noon and night.

Let him come down and take hold of you.

He will graft you on the vine that is true.

You will be his and he will be yours.

Every day you experience his love, you will want more.

Step out of your cave, into his light.

Rub your eyes, regain your sight.

Look around it’s real, you are ALIVE.

Listen to Jesus this time and do more than survive.

HEAVEN TO EARTH

Did you know, all heaven is going to break loose,

When Jesus comes back.

All heaven is going to break loose,

When that trumpet sounds.

It will be the end of the old and the start of the new.

You see all heaven is going to break loose.

When Jesus comes back,

Some will be scared, some surprised.

Some will raise their hands up to the skies.

Some will bow down and weep with relief.

Those who are his will be lifted up away from the thief.

All heaven is going to break loose.

We will see our savior face to face.

All heaven is going to break loose.

We will be transported to a different place.

At last, at last we will finally be safe.

All hell will be rounded up, never to bother again.

Time is about up.  This world is about done.  Christ will be coming.

For those who received the Son.

All will be fresh. All will be new.

Jesus is coming back.  Is he here for you?

Or did you fall for the world’s con?

Eternity starts soon so hang on.

Our time of waiting is almost gone.

Victory is in Jesus. Victory is in Jesus.

Throughout eternity he is always the same.

Salvation is found in no other name.

Are you ready for that glorious day?

TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Fences built of mercy and towers built of grace.

Surround this temple after salvation takes place.

You wrapped your arms around us with a passionate embrace.

Where ever we are now, drops of love leave a trace.

Changed now, the world doesn’t recognize we are free.

You’re taking your time, washing the dirt off us, gently.

Were changed----now we read and pray each day.

Were changed--- we have a new boss and new pay.

Were changed--- all things have become new.

Were changed--- we now see life differently too.

Were changed--- life isn’t all about us and stuff.

Were changed--- we now know why Jesus died for us.

Fences of mercy and towers of grace.

Show God’s loving embrace.

A chosen people being empowered at God’s own pace.

Given a new job were seated in Christ.

Into the true vine we are spliced.

Compassion for the lost now overwhelms our soul

We give our time and money.

To places we’ve never heard of before.

And when the days done we wish we could do more.

For at every turn we encounter the poor.

Were changed--- we see through different eyes now.

Were changed--- we know all things are possible with God.

Were changed--- at the end of the day we sleep in peace.

Were changed--- we know everything will work out according to his plan.

Were changed--- we know both

The Son of God and the Son of Man.

Jesus, we thank you for loving us all.

LIFE CAN CHANGE

Riding my jet ski, going real high.

Making big waves, so I can fly.

No cares at all just along I race.

Then a boat appears in my space.

Crash I fly over the top.

I wake up in a room.

Can’t feel my legs or talk.

In an instant life can change.

In an instant tragedy can hit.

God sees it all; He’s already made a savings call.

He sent his son to change the world.

He sent his son to change your life.

In an instant your life can change.

In an instant you can answer God’s call, so be smart.

For all life is a tragedy without Jesus filling your heart.

Driving down the road in my ride,

Playing with my new iPhone 5 beaming with pride.

I’m reading a text, it doesn’t take long.

I look up; I’m in the wrong lane.

A loud noise and I’m filled with pain.

I wake up in a room where I lie.

Hearing voices say “oh dear God please don’t let her die”.

In an instant life can change.

In an instant tragedy can be hit.

God sees it all; He’s already made a savings call...

He sent his son to change the world.

He sent his son to change your life.

In an instant your life can change.

 In an instant you can answer God’s call, so be smart.

For all life is a tragedy without Jesus filling your heart.

Some are born into tragedy.

Others create their own.

It doesn’t matter if you are on the phone, or on your jet ski.

If you don’t have Jesus, that is the real tragedy.

No matter if you are imprisoned in a body that’s racked with pain.

Or imprisoned in a body that doesn’t move, driving you insane.

Curses to blessings, good out of bad.

Christ will deliver, no matter how sad.

Praise God for his goodness.

Praise God for his grace.

Let Christ in that’s why he came.

To him we are all the same.

Encounter Jesus in your desolate place.

Say yes in your heart, receive his grace.

We need Jesus to be saved.

We need the son of God.

Come in Jesus change my life.

Make it a victorious one.

Tragedy into victory, that’s God’s way.

Once you let God in, he is there to stay

Bow your head and to Jesus say.

 I believe and receive you today.

You will never regret the choice you made.

Especially after your life starts to fade.

We need Jesus to be saved.         3X

I Call You Friend

When you get down.

Just look around.

Find that friend you have been missin’.

The one that always takes time to listen.

What makes one make a friend of you?

You will listen whether they’re excited or blue.

Friends are like sisters but with different moms.

Each forming unique and special bonds.

You might ask, where do friends come from?

Why are they here?

Did they just miraculously appear?

It’s my belief God places these people at various places.

To show all he loves us and to display his graces.

Friendship is easy when all goes well.

No testing or turbulence, all going just swell.

True friendship though survives the trials.

When everything is over you can hug and smile.

Helping each other through a tough time.

Becoming even closer after the climb.

Friends often will let you down and they will.

You want to tell them off, give them their fill.

But you don’t (usually) something inside you says no.

Besides you’ve done the same to others also.

You know were all flawed from the start.

It’s a condition of our heart.

Since the fall of mankind,

Imperfection in everyone we will find.

Yes even our best bestest friend.

Sometimes will be the one we can’t depend.

You see friendship is a trust.

Unconditional love is a must.

A bond that can’t be broken.

Even if a cruel word is spoken.

So stay close no matter what life brings.

Through the big and those never ending little things.

Friendship must be important and have a great reward,

Because friendship was demonstrated through Jesus our Lord

Who said “therefore I call you my friend”.

You see friends know how you think; friends know where you’ve been.

Friendship it’s priceless.

But only if you let someone in.

DO YOU BELIEVE IT

Do you believe, do you believe it?

The world has evolved over billions of years.

If there is a God, he watches but never interferes.

Dinosaurs were birds that could fly.

 Our life stops when we die.

Do you believe, do you believe it?

Get what you want at any cost.

Look to yourself and you won’t get lost.

Wealth and power are things we should seek.

Christians are all lunatics and freaks.

Do you believe, do you believe it?

Don’t you believe everything you hear.

There is always truth when God is near.

Most people speak out of ignorance and fear.

Don’t you believe everything you hear.

God’s word states he created everything in six days.

He is with us now and will always stay.

All will come see him when they die.

 He did create birds and most of them fly.

Do you believe, do you believe it?

His word will be proven right.

Faith, peace and love should be our fight.

Serve others and humbly be his clay.

Look to him only, he will light your way.

Believe God he makes it clear.

There is always truth when he is near.

Most people speak out of ignorance and fear.

Believe God he makes it clear.

Make your choice; soon it will be time to choose.

One is for God, the other you will lose.

God’s word is very clear. Believe in Him and he will draw near.

Believe the world and just live for you.

Then when you die, what will you do?

Do you believe God? He leaves that choice up to you.
