Happy New Year

As the New Year approaches fast

Make a resolution that God’s flame will last

Be His servant throughout this coming year

Be guided by the Holy Spirit’s inner voice you hear

Stay on fire so that everyone will see

It is not I who lived but Christ within me

If need be, rekindle the Lord’s holy fire

Each day you live, make Jesus your number one desire

Fan the flame, stir up the gifts God gave you

Show God’s light in all you think, say and do

As the months go by, be sure that fire does not go out

Remember glorifying Jesus is what it is all about

So let Jesus be felt and seen

                                         Christmas Gift

For unto us a child is born  For unto us a son is given

A gift given so all mankind  could be forgiven

O Holy night the angels sang out

The Father used his Spirit and Mary as His Holy Route

To bring the Son of Man to earth and placed in a manger

For some He would become their savior and sadly to others a stranger

O come all ye faithful came the Kings from afar

As they traveled the road to the baby following God’s bright and shining star

In Bethlehem that night was born the King of Kings

He would soon provide forgiveness, salvation and so many other things

He was named Jesus by his step father and his mother

And all who believed in His name would become His sister or brother

We are so thankful for Christmas and all it provides

Our King  , Saviour, and  Brother now sits on His throne where he forever resides

Blessed Be His Name    Blessed Be His Name

The Name that is above every name    Blessed be His name

The Right Way

Don’t trust your mind.  Don’t trust your emotions.

Tell yourself I am not going to trust in me.

I am going to trust in my Lord’s supremacy.

Speak His Word to your circumstances.

Be like David, praise God with your obedience and your dances.

Lord help me recognize your divine intentions.

Trusting always in your love, grace and power that your Word mentions.

Overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of your testimony.

For when it is done in faith and in love, it will never seem phony.

Don’t live in the reasoning of your head, but in the perception of His Spirit.

Then your victory over your circumstances will be powerful to all who see and hear it.

Remember, we are hid in Christ for God’s glory.

Let God take charge over you and become part of His wonderful story.

Prayer

When we pray, we must pray using His Word

For it never returns void, because it will always be heard

Remember self-pity will never bring a super natural result

Only His Word will bring victory, so let Him be the only one we exalt

Our prayers are stored in heaven in golden vials

As we wait for His answers with patience, hope, and thankful smiles

If our prayers go unanswered, check for spiritual interference like unconfessed sin

Confessing it to God will clear the way so that His answers can begin

God answers your prayers because God keeps His word

So, every single prayer you have prayed will in His way be answered

Rained down from heaven because of His mercy and grace

Falling on us with love and power for every situation we face

So, trust in the Lord with all your heart and mind

For when we wake up tomorrow, let us be thankful at whatever we find

                        Just Keep Walking

Keep walking don’t let anyone slow you down.

Keep walking don’t ever, ever turn around.

Keep walking even when you start to feel weak.

Keep walking even if you have blisters on your feet.

When you are in pain don’t complain or play the blame game.

Just keep walking in obedience to His commands.

Keep walking you are being held in Jesus’ hands.

When you don’t understand; when you don’t feel loved.

Keep walking for your hope and your faith rest only in Jesus’ name.

He is all man so he knows your pain.

He is all God so he knows your name.

You are the light in others darkness.

Don’t let your light grow dim.

You are a voice in the wilderness.

Your words speak for Him.

God has your life and God hears your call keep walking.

Let others know that Jesus is your all and all.

                             Live For Him

Be strong as His chosen children in this land.

Stand up tall and fearless as you take hold of his hand.

Jehovah Nissi, the Lord our banner, raise it high.

Let the enemy have no doubt as they see it high in the sky.

Through Him we have our victory.

Despite the enemy’s deception and trickery.

He is the captain of our salvation.

He is the Lord over all creation.

So be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Never, never, never give up the fight.

For in a little while, he will come and will not tarry.

He will call us up to heaven with Him to marry.

No more seeing as in a glass with all its haze.

We will enter into His gate with thanksgiving and His court with praise.

So keep focused on that hope that lies before.

When we get to heaven, remember God Himself will open the door.

Thanksgiving Time

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of year

Thanking God for all he has made clear

Being thankful for families coming together again

Hoping everything is well for all of them, Amen

Food is being cooked and the house smells so good

As vapors make their way out from under range hood

Turkey, beef or ham it really doesn’t matter to most

Everyone will be stuffed, well almost

Because there is always room for pie no matter the kind

All who finish will find a chair and recline

Later the games will be played and oh no’s and cheers are spoken

For games bring out so much of a family’s emotion

No one wins or really ever loses

For when it’s over back to the recliner for more snoozes

When it is all over we leave and go back to our own homes

There we are left to communicate only with our phones

God doesn’t just want us to dream big and stop

He wants to do big things through us and reach for the top

So, get up and move get in the groove of the Holy Spirit’s power

Let him show you the dream he has for you

Then with his power, show the world what you can do

His opportunities abound; every one of them is sound

                       Before Now and Soon

After his sacrifice for our sins, he sat down at his father’s right hand

As the angels sang and played worship and praise songs in their heavenly band

He waits for his enemies to be made his footstool

As the grapes of wrath are pressed into a large pool

He treads the winepress of his fear and of his wrath

Nothing no nothing will stand in our Lord’s path

He is coming He is coming he is riding a white horse

Nothing in heaven or hell can change his course

Its rider is called faithful and true

Look up for all things are about to become new

He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood

His justice and mercy will cover the land like the great flood

Jesus isn’t pacing the floor it is done

Remember the war is over the battle is already won

He gives us the authority to make disciples of every nation

Baptizing them in the name of the Father, Holy Spirit and Son

Making them his holy relation

While he waits he instructs, empowers and intercedes for all

Thus enabling his children to lift their heads and stand fearless and tall

So don’t just stand looking into the sky go out and be his hands and feet

Bringing people to Christ before they face the judgment seat

Our hero will appear on a white horse and we will all be safe

For these are the last days and soon we will see him face to face

                             Fight the Good Fight

Put on God’s seven armor pieces then take an offensive stand

With God as our captain move forward and occupy the land

Stand as conquers the battle is won

We are victorious for we always triumph in what Christ has already done

                            Jesus Is In Town

Kneeling before Jesus he said, “If you are willing cure my leprosy”

Jesus said, “I am willing, you have been set free 

Go now and see that you don’t tell anyone

Present your offering of evidence of what was done”

As the tiles were removed and their friend dropped down

Some on the ground began to frown

Most were amazed at what was being done

When his sins were forgiven though all were stunned every single one

Don’t worry yourself let go of that frown

Find your peace Jesus is in town

The Son of God is here today

He lives in the hearts of those who obey

As he went into the towns healing the blind

Those he touched saw light for the first time

The crowds were astonished at what they saw

The religious groups said among themselves

This is the last straw

Jesus said to the Pharisees “Woe to you, woe to you

Your outsides look clean but inside your wickedness is true”

They decided to kill the messiah that day

For what he had said he was going to pay

Jesus is in town he is here in this room

Just look around he rose and is alive no longer in that tomb

Jesus is in town he is here in this room

He has put on his crown and for those who are his there is no more doom

Don’t worry yourself let go of that frown

Being Used

After we nailed him to the tree

His love was lifted for all to see

He came to serve then died for all

That’s what was required after our fall

He healed the sick and gave the blind sight

His love and compassion replaced their night

He paid the price for the world’s iniquities

Now to those who are his, no more penalties

The minute we believe, we are set free

We can then take up our cross and follow his decree

Give him your hands and feet to use

Then with your life story spread the good news

When night comes, give a hallelujah and hurrah

Thank him for what he accomplished through you that day

Soon we will see him face to face

An eternity with him without disgrace

Smile it gets better forever and forever

We never are going back

There were ten commandments written on stone

There are nine fruits of the spirit for us to own

There are eight things to think about during the day

There are seven days in a week, a perfect array

There are six days that the Lord wants us to work

There were five loaves of bread from the boy Jesus took

There are four angels standing on the four corners of the earth

There were three sons of Noah that were given birth

There are two that marry and become one

There is one Father, one Holy Spirit and one Son

There you are if you were in doubt

There it is for you all laid out

Read His Word it is all in there

His mercy, His love, and how much He cares

I know your attractions and desires are different from mine

And I know you think that’s just fine, but I don’t

Some lie cheat or steal and make it their life

They think it’s just fine to bring sadness and strife, but I don’t

I don’t because I care for you

I don’t because I want what is best for you

I love you without partiality

I love you despite your personality

Because I know where you have been

I hate only your sin

But I do want you to feel my love and move closer to me

To search yourself and recognize without me where would you be

I offer a way out from your current path

Believe me and receive me then you will escape my wrath

I am coming back very soon all the heavens and earth will shake

I am coming back very soon don’t be left behind for your sake

Secure your place in eternity with me now

Ask my son Jesus into your heart, do you know how?

Jesus, I believe what your word said you did

I confess I am a sinner and ask your forgiveness

I give you my body, soul and mind

Your word says redemption is now mine

I am now your son and I thank you for everything

                             Patience and Healing

God why don’t you heal all your children’s bodies and minds

That would be wonderful, so helpful and kind

Have you turned your face from us and ignored our pain

From where I sit that is not progress and definitely of no gain

Your Word says you are always there and we are always in your sight

Your Word says you are compassionate, long suffering, and always right

So, I can’t help but believe that you are allowing our suffering for a reason

And that our conditions are allowed by you for a season

Your Word states that Christ learned obedience through His suffering and strife

He was an example of how it will be in our life

We learn patience as You build character in us as we wait for your compassion and direction

As we grow one step closer to looking like Christ and our perfection

For you know the depth and breadth of our weakness

Your power flows freely into weak ones aware of their neediness and meekness

So I will take each day living in the power of you might

Knowing it isn’t me but Christ in me who has taken over my fight

So thank you for all you have done and all you are going to do

For my hope, faith and trust will always be in you

His Word says we turned on Him and began to sin

His Word says our sin separated us from Him

Believe what you read in His Word

Then let your heart be captured

Give your sin to Him

Die to yourself and be born again

Prayer for Billings

Sovereign God, creator of all there is

Unite your churches as one and let it be a center of prayer, of holiness, of unity, of peace

Give your church boldness to speak your Word in love

As people become aware of their sin, make us ready for your Word to find its way in

Give us courage to be in the center of your Will.

Perform signs, wonders and miracles so people will have no doubt it is you.

Take us out of ourselves and fill us with your Holy Spirit fresh and new.

Put your angels around this city and let no evil in.

Send your army to cut and clear out the sin.

Break these strongholds of evil so that you can have a harvest of souls.

Convict all your children in Billings to pray for that goal.

Holy Spirit shine your light on these and other areas of darkness.

Expose them for what they are and make them lifeless.

Lord may you be glorified in Billings.

                                                                        Easter’s Gift

I am the one that hammered that spike into your hand.

I am the one that nailed your feet so you could not stand.

I helped mankind lift your cross and put it into that hole.

As you cried out in pain, at that time, it didn’t even bother my soul.

We stabbed a spear in your side and blood and water ran down in plain sight.

Right after you had cried, “It is finished” and gave up your fight.

You were put in a cave when you had died.

I heard that three days later many had seen you, I thought they had lied.

One day I was struggling and didn’t know what to do.

I ran into a friend, one who had claimed he had seen you.

I told him of my trials and tribulations and he said there was a cure for that.

I said in desperation, “What is it?” and we began to chat.

He explained to me all Christ had accomplished by dying and rising again.

About how much he loved all mankind and paid for their sin.

I was moved in my spirit and right there and then received Jesus into my life.

I instantly felt the weight of my sin taken away as God cut it out with his double-edged knife.

I now live with confidence and hope, each day I am here.

For God has given me a supernatural strength, and I have realized I have nothing to fear.

MY  CHURCH

Want to hear the best gospel around?

I know a church on a corner west of town.

The worship music is awesome.

It gets you up out of your chair.

They feel it as they play it.

God is glorified there.

Come on in, come on in, no one will stare.

And when the music stops.

You will want more. But just wait and hear what the pastor has in store.

He is full of love and understanding, that he passes on to you.

He will tell you how much God loves you.

And how he wants you to love Him to.

There will be something about that place.

That makes you feel warm and safe. So come on in, come on in, no one will stare.

It’s a Safe Place, Jesus is found there.

Your heart will be moved.

The Lord will talk to you.

He will fill you with his wonderful truth.

“I am with you always, even to the end of the world.

I am he that lives and was dead.

Yet I am alive for evermore.

I am the way, the truth, and the life.

No one comes to the Father except through me”.

As you hear His word you will start to change.

Emotions will flood you and one of them will be fear

Because what was said, you needed to hear.

You may even want to leave, but stay.

The pastor will ask “do you want Jesus in your heart today”?

Power that overcomes your fear, will tell you to raise your hand.

God is here.

Your fear will leave and peace will take its place.

All because of God’s love and unending grace.

You will be given a Bible, go home and read.

Allow God to do miraculous things with his seed.

Then with your family, friends, and neighbors, start to share.

Asking them to church with you, tell them no one will stare.

Get involved in a Bible study today.

Learn with others what God has to say.

So come on, Come on, receive Christ today.

There is nothing for you to pay.

He is love is free for all every day.

So come on in, come on no one will stare.

Come on in, Jesus is found there.

Because an eternity not in heaven is a long, long time.

You wanted to break me to your will.

But I said no, I wanted to be me still.

I thought I didn’t need you to help me climb up my Hill.

But I was wrong Jesus, I was wrong.

Can’t I still, come along?

I’m ready to sing salvation’s song.

You can’t come over after you die.

I’m sorry but your time went by.

That is the way my father designed it.

Without Christ, you fall into a deep dark pit.

You must believe Christ died for all.

Receive him as your Savior, when you hear his call.

If you do, eternity in heaven awaits.

If you don’t, your eternity won’t have golden gates.

So, if you are alive, weigh the cost.

Or stay stubborn, proud and lost.
